OUR STORY

"A Sofa is the Soul of the Living Room."

One night, in the heart of a city teeming with life, a trio of friends - Carlos, Kelly, and Toby - gathered around an unhurried dinner table, as chatter and laughter echoed in the night and resonated with warmth through the room. It was during this particular dinner that the topic of conversation eventually swayed to homes and the centerpieces that can actually metaphor the essence and soul of the living room. Within conversations of moving and redecorating, a shared realisation struck them like a chord plucked in perfect harmony: finding the right sofa was analogous to a quest for a hidden treasure, for they were usually either too costly or lacking reasonable quality.

Carlos, endowed with a keen eye for design, honed by years of experience, couldn’t help but to press his discontent at the scarcity of affordable, well-crafted sofas. "Why must we choose between a sofa that's a feast for the eyes, but pernicious for the wallet, or one that spares the coins but starves the spirit?"
Toby nodded, adding, "And it's not just about the money or style. It's about our families, our kids, our pets. What's the point of a sofa if it's laced with materials that do more harm than comfort?"
Kelly, the ever dreamer, chimed in with a vision that sparkled with possibility, "What if we could create something that wasn't just a piece of furniture, but the heart of a home—comforting, welcoming, and safe for all?"

And that kindled the fire.

That night, under the soft glow of the dining room light, a dream was woven into the fabric of reality. Ink & White was born out of a desire to bridge the gap between elegance and affordability, between safety and style. They envisioned furniture with catchy vibrant colors that could dance across the decades, from the retro charm of the '50s to the sleek lines of modern living, all while holding fast to the principle of harmlessness and sustainability.
“Catchy Vibrant colors, Retro Charm and Sleek Lines”
They worked tirelessly, selecting fabrics that evoked eco-consciousness, and designs that would echo through time. With every stitch and every sweep of the drawing board, they poured their passion for a sofa that was not just a sitting space, but the soul of the living room—a place where memories were made and shared, where children grow, and where life, in all its beautiful messiness, happens.

Ink & White wasn't just a company; it was a revolution in the making, a testament to the belief that the right sofa could be more than a piece of furniture. It could be a legacy, a bearer of moments, and a standing guardian of comfort for every family. And consequently, impelled by the belief that the right sofa is indeed “the soul of the living room”, the friends set out to offer the world not just a choice in fabric or color, but a choice in a lifestyle, a choice in values, a choice in the very essence of what makes a house a home.
